Beginnings
Our company was founded in Portland in 1984 by the Ellis family, a multi-generational Pacific Northwest shipping family. Dating back to the turn of the last century in the Puget Sound, this long history has laid the groundwork for a tradition of expertise and maritime knowledge which resides in the staff at Pacific Rim Shipbrokers, Inc. and Pacific Rim Forwarders, Inc. of today.
